Description
The AEOLEAN HOUSE is located in Salina, one of the seven islands of the Sicilian Aeolus Archipelago: Alicudi, Filicudi, Lipari, Panarea, Salina, Stromboli, and Vulcano. The Archipelago is located around 40 km. away from the Sicilian coast. Unpolluted nature, magic colours and lights, Mediterranean atmosphere, crossroads of different cultures (Greek, Romans, Arabic, Norman, French, Spanish…), unique flavours ( taste the Malvasia the golden wine of vulcanoes). The Island may be reached from the Sicilian cities of Palermo, Milazzo, Messina, or from Reggio Calabria and Naples by ferry boat, by plane from the airport of Catania.
The house is located in a panoramic position in the most important village of the Island: Santa Maria di Salina. It is built on two floors, each one of which measures 80 sqm. The first floor was completely restored and has a large terrace organized with sofas and tables to enjoy the exceptional views. The house on the first floor has a living room which gives access to a small well-organized kitchen, a master bedroom with dressing area, dressing room, two bathrooms and a large shower.
The bedroom, the lounge and the kitchen have french windows facing the large covered terrace overlooking the sea with dining area and sofas.
Alway on the same floor, there is a small bedroom with two twin beds, bathroom with shower and closet, a glass door separates this area from the rest of the house.
From the living room a staircase gives access to another large sun terrace with sofas and a 360 ° view. The house is equipped with ceiling fans in all environments. The ground floor in not restaured and it is sourrounded by a garden.
