PIEVE SAN QUIRICO ABBEY VILLA (11^thcentury Historic Residence)

The Abbey  is a stylish 11 th century construction and historic complex For his beauty it was choose by Pope Leo the 13^th as his summer residence . It was recently completely restored   under the indication of the Umbrian Monuments and Fine Arts Office, and it became  a luxury comfortable residence. It is located in the centre of Umbria, 15 minutes away from Perugia and 30 minutes from Tuscany, less than 2 hours north of Rome & south of Florence. It is located on a hill overlooking  the river  Tiber Northern Valley, also called “ Museum Valley” because of its beauty, art and culture.  Part of the property are:  the beautiful church with frescoes inside dedicated  to Saint Quirico, the octagonal bell tower , the sacristy,  theparish house, the courtyard, the  swimming pool (with salted water),  the botanic garden and the park. The property is immersed in an large estate of  600 hectars  .  Bikes are provided to visit the farm, where is also possible to walk in the paths to visit  woods and fields. In the Abbey there is an entrance  room  with fireplace which may also be used as a studio, a living room, a dining room which seats 6 persons, a second dining room in the veranda, a fully equipped kitchen (professional Dishwasher , Freezer, Fridge , Grill (volcanic stone), Microwave, Oven, Stoves , Kneader, Blender,  Microwave, Toaster) . All the  7 spacious bedrooms  have en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, mini fridge, Wifi and Tv. On the ground- floor there are two bedrooms one with twin beds and the second with double bed. The other fours bedrooms are located in the 1^st floor. Two bedrooms are double beds, one has double or twin beds, the last one has a double bed + a single bed.  On  the first floor there is also a terrace overlooking the valley. In the same property there is a Tower with four apartments, this apartments may be rented if more bedrooms are needed. In the tower there is  also a laundry room with dryer and ironing machine.
