Description

Panoramic villa built by the architect Tullio Rossi in 1952, on top of a cliff that falls sheer to the see of Ansedonia . It was here that Leonard Bernstein composed "West Side Story" at a piano he bought especially for the villa. You can still play it today. Ingrid Bergman and Alfred Hitchcock were among the guests over the Tuscan summers.

 
The villa has a private slope to the see with the possibility of swimming and of docking (only small boats).
The view is magnificent and faces Monte Argentario and the beach of La Feniglia. You may enjoy the view from the terrace and the swimming pool. The pool is lower on one side and it is situated on the top of a rock. It is not  very large but with a beautiful view and colour of the water.
The entrance from the outside street is thought the garden designed by Piero Porcinai (1 he), the garden is formed by various terraces declining to the sea. In the garden there is a parking area.
Tables and chairs are in the terrace where there is also a big table to eat outside, oven for pizza and barbecue situated in the outdoor kitchen area.
 
A big living room goes all along the outside terrace and from the opposite side it has door-windows on a patio. Every thing is well furnished with many sofas, the dining table and the piano. There are seven bedrooms with exit to the garden and all with en-suit bathrooms.
 
The bedrooms are composed as follows:
  1. queen size bedroom with bathroom en-suite (bathtub) windows facing the patio.
  2. queen size bedroom with bathroom en-suite (Jacuzzi) fireplace, windows facing the garden.
  3. twin bedroom with bathroom en-suite (bathtub), windows on the garden.

The house is provided with gardener.
 
Excurcion to : boat trip to Giannutri and Giglio island, or the Tuscan and Etruscan villages (in less than one hour drive) of Tarquinia, Sorano, Pitigliano, Gardens of Bomarzo and Bagnaia, or releaxing day in the famous thermal springs of Saturnia.
