About us
Live in It srl is an Italian real estate agency established in June 2004 by two Roman cousins, Letizia Bucci Casari and Matilde Cartoni. Our initial goal was to rent to foreign visitors our family homes and those of our friends in Rome, Tuscany and Umbria.
In just a short period of time, our family enterprise has become a fully-fledged real estate agency specialised in prestigious properties all over Italy. Today, Live in It offers holiday rentals in Italian country houses, seaside villas and mountain chalets, as well as short- and long-term apartment rentals and sales in Rome.
Our clients come from all over the world, and, thanks to the complete services we offer, Live in It has acquired an excellent reputation among the foreign visitors and expatriates who want to rent or buy homes in Italy. Clients include Hollywood producers and stars, important national and international firms and business people, artists, academics and families who want to live in Italy for a sabbatical year or move here for good. More than anything, word-of-mouth among friends, acquaintances and customers has reinforced our growth and diversified our clientele. Those who have found an apartment or house through us have appreciated our discretion and reliability and told others about our services. Matilde Cartoni is the Managing Director of the agency. Born in 1956 and raised in Rome, she attended Tufts University in Boston and the University of Rome, where she obtained a laurea (M.A.) in Political Science. She spent 14 years working in the Marketing and Public Relations divisions of Olivetti in Ivrea, Milan and Rome. Matilde and Letizia founded Live in It in 2004. Ann Pulver Siravo was born in the United States in 1951 and spent her childhood on both sides of the Atlantic. She studied History at the University of Wisconsin and Historic Preservation at Columbia University. She teaches American architecture and liberal arts students studying abroad at the Pantheon Institute, and looks after Live in It’s English-speaking clients. She is married to Francesco Siravo, an architect and planner.
Gea Fatta del Bosco was born in Palermo in 1965 and moved to Rome upon completing her studies. She worked for three years in the design department of Max Mara, spent 12 years with the agricultural development consulting firm of AgriConsulting Group, and 8 years with Alfa International, organizing communications and promotional events. Gea has been with Live in It since 2006, where she takes care of property rentals and sales (mobile +39 3483289196)
Tanja Cvetkovic was born in Croatia in 1966. After her formal studies she worked in the hotel industry on the Dalmatian coast and then spent two years in England to perfect her English. During the Balkan wars in the 1990s, she moved to Italy where she came to know and work for Letizia’s family. Tanja has been with Live in It from the beginning, and takes care of rentals and property sales, as well as the agency’s day-to-day administration (portable +39 3358385899).
Violante Pasolini, who is also an associate of Live In It, was born in 1986 and raised in Tuscany and Rome. She graduated in International Communications from Oxford Brookes University in England. Before returning to Italy, Violante worked as an intern in New York for the advertising agency Della Femina Rothschild Jeary and Partners. In addition to working on public relations for the American Academy, she looks after Live in It’s short-term rentals and helps Matilde with strategic planning for the agency.
